Spice Village has been rooted in family hospitality since 2004 and has catered weddings and events since 2008. We bring the same cooking to birthdays, engagements, Eid and Diwali parties, Aqiqahs, baby showers and family gatherings across London and the South East.
We can cook and serve at your home, cater at a hall or venue you have hired, or deliver food ready to serve for smaller gatherings. Tell us your date, roughly how many guests you expect and where the party will be, and we will suggest a menu and send you a proposal.

Whatever you are celebrating, we plan the food around the occasion and the people coming.
Birthdays
From a first birthday to a 40th or 50th, the menu can suit every age at the party. Children’s favourites such as chicken popcorn, mini burgers and mini pizzas can sit alongside kebabs, curries and biryani for the adults. Need a venue too? See our birthday party venues.
Engagements, Mangni and Roka
Engagement parties often bring two families together for the first time. Canapés and mocktails suit a drinks reception, while a buffet or dishes to share suit a seated meal.
Eid and Diwali
Festival gatherings call for plenty of food and room for everyone. For Eid, we can plan a spread of karahi, biryani and grilled kebabs, with kheer and gulab jamun to finish. For Diwali, our Gujarati menu is entirely vegetarian and our Indian menu has a full vegetarian choice, with jalebi and ras malai for something sweet.
Aqiqah and baby showers
Welcoming a new baby brings the whole family together. We can plan a relaxed buffet or dishes to share, with lighter bites and sweet things for daytime gatherings.
Anniversaries, graduations and family gatherings
For an anniversary dinner, a graduation party or relatives visiting from abroad, we can serve courses at the table or a generous buffet for a crowd.

At home, at your venue or delivered
At your home
Our team brings the food, serving staff, crockery and equipment to your home, so you can spend the party with your guests instead of in the kitchen. Where there is room, in the garden for example, our chefs can also cook live.
At a hall or venue
Whether you have booked a banqueting suite, a community hall or a hotel function room, we cater there with our own staff and equipment and agree the kitchen, access and timings with the venue beforehand. Delivered, ready to serve
For a smaller gathering you would rather host yourself, we can deliver the food in trays, ready to serve, without staff.

Live stations make the food part of the party. Our chefs cook in front of your guests, and people gather round to watch. Choose from:

Canapés and mocktails
For an engagement reception or an evening party where guests mingle, canapés work well: mini seekh kebabs, mini chapli kebabs, malai chicken tikka, paneer tikka and pani puri, with mocktails such as a classic mojito, pina colada or lychee martini. See our canapés and mocktails menu.

Questions about party catering
Can you cater a party at our home?
Yes. Our team can bring the food, serving staff and equipment to your home, and cook live where there is room. If you would rather host it yourself, we can deliver the food ready to serve.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
No, there is no minimum. Tell us your numbers and we will plan the menu and staffing around them.
How far ahead should we book?
Summer weekends go first, so get in touch early if your party falls on one. Smaller parties can often be arranged at shorter notice.
Do you cater for vegetarian guests and children?
Yes. Our Pakistani and Indian menus have vegetarian starters and mains, the Gujarati menu is entirely vegetarian, and we can add children’s favourites such as chicken popcorn and mini burgers.
Can we try the food first?
Yes. We can arrange a tasting so you can settle the dishes, spice levels and presentation before the day.
